20% Carbon Filled PTFE Tube
This grade has performance characteristics suitable for either hard or soft metal counter surfaces
Content
What is 20% Carbon Filled PTFE Tube
20% carbon filled ptfe tube is made of 20% carbon with 80% virgin PTFE, it has increased dimensional stability across a range of temperatures. This grade has improved the surface hardness and wear resistance, as well as good electrical and thermal conductivity. Carbon filled PTFE grades should not be used with hydroflouric acid and strong alkalis.
Benefits
• Excellent deformation resistance at high temperatures
• Excellent creep resistance at high temperatures
• Good electrical conductivity
• Improved surface hardness
• Good thermal conductivity
• Good chemical resistance
Typical Applications
• Hydraulic and pneumatic seals
• Valve seats - ball and gate
• Automotive seals
• Bearing pads
• Piston rings
• Bearings
