15% Glass Fibre Filled PTFE Tube
15% Glass Fibre filled PTFE Tube owns strong wear resistance, very small friction and excellent electrical performance
Content
What is 15% Glass Fibre Filled PTFE Tube?
15% glass fibre filled ptfe tube is made of PTFE powder mixed with 15% glass fibre. As it has glass fibre added, so it has good wear resistant, improved hardness, lower thermal expansion, lower deformation under load. 15% glass fibre filled ptfe tube has excellent electrical properties and a low coefficient of friction and non-stick properties. It is resistant to wear, deformation, and creep and is suitable for service at temperatures from the cryogenic range up to 260°C
Features:
15% glass fibre filled ptfe tub is chemically inert to all known industrial chemicals, it has low co-efficient of friction, non-stick & non-toxic, wide temperature range. It exhibits excellent permeation resistance and has excellent dielectric properties.
Weakness of 15% Glass Fibre Filled PTFE Tube
15% glass fibre filled ptfe tube has higher coefficient of friction than pure PTFE, abrasive filler unsuitable for some applications. The resistance to gas permeation of glass filled ptfe is reduced.
Typical Applications
15% glass fibre filled ptfe tube are used for wear pads, piston rings, cookware coatings and rotating platforms, containers and pipelines for chemicals and machinery lubricant.
